Hong KONG Airport Safety Serious
This is a project of safety video for Hong Kong airport. The original idea was a serious of two minutes videos.
But we realize that people always moving around in airport. As a result, we are go for a serious of videos of 30 sec. We shorten the scripts and we adjusted the storyboard. And the result is much better.

A 30s commercial, we created the sculpting of the ice creams, animation, rigging.
I have to say the deform of the ice cream is a bit weird but we have to for fill request of client.

Tekken - End game movies serious
This was a project from Namco Japan and I was the project manager of this project.
In this serious of fight, making compatible of animation style and the design of the character is quite challenging. It is because the animation style do not consider the costume of the characters. To make samurai jumping in the air with the correct weight and can keep up the speed is disaster.
And I strengthen the hitting and reacting of characters to express more "pain" & "dangerous" fighting.

In this project, my duty is animation and rigging, camera & crowd.
For the fighting scenes, the difficult part is adjusting the "hit" keys, the timing of key frames. Timing become the most issue and we took very long time to adjust each shots. Faster...slower...hold... Sometime we have to increase the length of characters limbs to get a more powerful gestures.
Also the framing and camera movement, toke a long time to adjust.
Fortunately, the art director do like the style.

For this project, I was responsible in rigging,face and body, and animation. The client request that the bears to be very cute obviously. It is a bit challenge that the limbs of the characters are so short but I am glad that I still can pull this off.
I created a lot of blend shapes and bones for their faces and we even need to tune the blend shape value over 1 sometime.

For this project, I was responsible in modeling , rigging and animation. The client request that the robot arm to "grow" out from the top but I realize that this kind of movement will be quite origanic. So I have to balance the request from client and the feeling of the animation.

In this TVCs, the director gave us the reference of Kung Fu Panda and let us follow the style.
And then we follow the style and camera angles of Kung Fu Panda and the art director approve it straightly.

In this project I took part the animation and rigging. The interactive between characters are quite interesting.
The rhythm of this TVC is quite jumpy and create a happy acting. The art direct do like the boy and girl in a "normal" style gestures, so the most "normal" style is applied.
So I applied the funny part on the dog. The jumping and standing on the head of horse...And then the director Do like it so much.
